This photo was taken during a moody winter day in Cannon Beach. I specifically came here in the winter because I wanted to capture Haystack Rock in its stunning, stormy setting. Against the dark sky and dramatic light, the rock looks even more breathtaking. It’s a familiar place, but always different depending on the weather, making each visit a unique experience.
