About the Image:

A blanket of snow covers the desert floor of Joshua Tree National Park, contrasting with the numerous Joshua trees scattered across the landscape. The bright sky illuminates the scene and cast long shadows from the trees onto the snow. Joshua Tree National Park is one of my favorite National Parks. It covers two deserts: the Mojave and Colorado Desert in Southern California. In the winter of 2019/2020 a large amount of snow fell in the region, providing rare views of a snow-covered desert.
