Behind the Image:

I took this from Neahkahnie Mountain, looking out over the famous view of Oregon’s north coast and Highway 101. Red autumn leaves were still clinging to the bushes in the foreground, and I chose to focus on them—leaving the iconic view softly blurred in the distance. It was a way of seeing something familiar from a different perspective.
