Behind the Image:

I flew the drone over the Oregon Coast at sunset and captured this view of the now-decommissioned lighthouse at Cape Arago. The lighthouse and the rock it stands on look tiny compared to the massive ocean and glowing sky—but that’s what makes it so powerful. For decades, it was a beacon and savior in these wild, stormy waters. Even in silence now, it still feels like a symbol of hope and guidance in a vast, unpredictable sea.
