"I captured this image during my first photography trip. The drive to Montana had taken around 10 hours, and I remember arriving at my rental cabin exhausted. I spent so much time planning the itinerary for this trip. It was supposed to be an adventure filled with beautiful hikes and colorful sunsets. Unfortunately, Montana had other plans, and the next five days were dominated by cloudy skies and rainy afternoons.
Montana showed me that nature doesn't care about carefully crafted plans created by landscape photographers. The heavy rains and strong winds showed me that I would have to adapt to nature and not the other way around. At that moment I decided to retire my plans, and start enjoying the journey. Fortunately, I ended up capturing one of my favorite images."

Sometimes, we remember the overall sensation of visiting a place but we forget the small details. That is the reason why I started photography..." Read more.
