Montana Road

Pete Scheu

"One fall in 2013 I flew myself to Red Lodge Montana to visit family. My Aunt shares my same passion for photography, so we had set out on an afternoon adventure driving the back roads to see what we could find. It was a crisp, cool day – you could feel the calm before the snows began as a slight breeze rustled the grass. And as we stopped to watch the snow squalls move through in the distance, the sun broke through just long enough to capture this scene. And we set out again on that Montana Road, following it as it disappeared towards the snow-capped mountains beyond."
