"There was a time in my life for almost two years where I did little but travel, and quite often my adventures would take me up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. Big Sur is one of my favorite places in the world to watch the sunset, with the dull roar of the Pacific rolling in. To me, there is a beauty in the Pacific unmatched anywhere, with the ocean leaving the coastline and reaching out into its incomprehensible vastness. On this evening the usual marine layer had moved inland, providing a unique view of the Golden State’s golden light illuminating the incredible colors of the coastline. Because the human eye can see color and contrast much better than any camera in existence, HDR allows me to replicate a landscape as I remember it in my mind’s eye..." Read more.
